The Plat-O submerged device, developed by Sustainable Marine Energy Ltd, was tested in Ifremer's wave and current flume tank in the framework of the Marinet project.

The device used in this test was equipped with 2 tri-bladed horizontal axis marine turbines developed by Schottel.
